Maraming bagong matitikman sa resto ni Juday at ayon sa mga unang nakakain na dito, sobrang sarap ng mga pagkain dito!

What a privilege to be one of the first to try #Angrydobo? The brain child of my friends @officialjuday & @ryan_agoncillo whose passion for good food easily translates into these yummy creations of well loved classics with a definitive flavour jolt! I wanted to bottle the adobo sauce & take home several boxes! ❤️?? I was completely taken by Juday’s invention of the #champsicle which is a frozen dark chocolate champorado bar with a sprinkle of tuyo dust! It’s simply ingenious. Opening real soon along Taft Avenue in front of DLSU! Congratulations guys! You’ve hit the jackpot! #natikmankona #madewithlove

May kwento pala ang Angry Adobo ni Juday. Ayon kay Ryan, about 14 years ago, mag-jowa palang sila noon, nasa Los Angeles, USA sila at meron silang LQ (lovers’ quarrel). Ayun, kaya tinawag nila itong Angry Adobo.

Close to 14 years ago, when we were just dating, we got into this really petty argument that just blew up. You know those fights that just go around in circles, where you eventually forget how it started and then just end up being quiet in the car on the drive home? We had lots of those. But, one night in Los Angeles, something magical came out of this particular lovers quarrel. Judy Anne had promised to cook adobo for our Filipino friends in LA. The plan was to make a big batch that they could then just throw in the fridge and reheat at least for the next 2 weeks. So that night, fight or no fight, I was sent out with a list of ingredients. It was close to midnight when I got back. My girlfriend was having a glass of wine in the kitchen. Without uttering a word, I dumped the supplies on the counter, and immediately went to bed. As I got up the next morning, imagine my surprise as I spot Juday still in the kitchen, apparently never having gone to sleep, still working and cooking up a frenzy. The kitchen was hot and heavy with the smell of passion and witchcraft. Something was going on. Soon as I parked my butt on the kitchen stool, the cook wordlessly places a bowl in front of me and goes straight to bed. It was almost noon, but the house was dead quiet and not a soul was in sight. I looked down into the bowl of fluffy white rice, topped with this dark but gleaming adobo still steamy fresh out of the pot. I took a spoonful. #angrydobo #madewithlove

At gumawa pa si Ryan ng poem about the Angry adobo.

i sat alone in the kitchen with only the ticking clock a soundtrack to the mid day sun filtering thru the curtains. each bite into this magic, bringing perspective. if only i didn’t throw my gaze out the freeway. if only i met her eyes as i felt her head swivel my direction. if only i let my arm brush hers as she leaned in. if only i didn’t put our friends in an awkward spot as they try to laugh thru the tension. love will always find a way though. after the last mouthful, i am spellbound. i get up and fix another bowl of passion, an offering to the woman who labored all thru the night. i meander thru the dimly lit corridor, words all a mess, but thoughts very clear. i gently rap on the door. knock, knock, knock. i patiently wait. I hear a rustle of the blankets. and then she opens the door, with a sniffle, and a smile. #angrydobo #madewithlove
